What is personal training?

When you think of personal training, what exactly springs to mind? If it’s images of super fit pop and movie stars being made to run for miles, or mega-rich business people being taken to the gym 5 times a week, then you couldn’t be further from the mark!

The fitness industry has developed much in the last few years, with one of the biggest changes being the increased accessibility of personal training.

Increased awareness of issues surrounding health and fitness has created a demand for an affordable way to have private, one on one tuition with a qualified trainer.

Lee Scott Smith provides qualified and experienced personal trainers to listen to and understand your specific needs. We recognise that everyone is different and so there really is no “one size fits all” solution when it comes to achieving your goals.

There’s no need to go out and buy any fitness equipment, or even to have a great deal of space in which to workout. Your personal trainer will be able to provide mobile fitness equipment such as fit balls and resistance bands for use in your sessions together.

We also have a gym ideally suited for beginners, and can recommend more comprehensive facilities at which to train if you are interested in joining a gym.

Personal training can also be carried out in small groups of 2, 3 or 4 people. Working out with your friends whilst under the guidance of an expert can be even more rewarding and fun!

Your personal trainer will set you targets both in the long and short term, motivating you along the way to achieving them.
